Greetings from Chicago!

I'll be reporting live all day today and for the next two days from the Search Engine Strategies Conference. Please continue to check back today for updates and feel free to make any comments or ask questions you may have. You may also get more information at the official website:
http://www.jupiterevents.com/sew/fall03/glance.html

I'll be having interviews with Danny Sullivan, Andy Beal, and other search experts, as well as representatives from Google, Overture, and others.

Just to get a feel for why people are here, I had a couple quick discussions with some peers this morning. The first was with a lady from Washington, D.C., named Brett Bryant, who is the online marketing manager for http://www.hanleywood.com. Her primary concern was that her site just got slammed by recent changes at Google, something that I'm sure many of you can relate to.

I also talked to a Swedish woman named Jasmina Tildeborg, who is a web designer and webmaster of http://www.electrolux.com. While Jasmina is a SEO newbie, her boss is completely crazy about Danny Sullivan. Since he couldn't attend the conference himself, Jasmina is here to learn some of Danny's wisdom.

Check back at 11:30 or 12 EST for the next update. As I mentioned earlier, I'll be giving live updates and interviews throughout the conference so stay tuned for more!

Thanks,
